Scope of Services

In response to Client needs, our practice has developed particular skills in the application of innovative fire engineering techniques to new and refurbished projects and provision of practical and cost effective fire safety solutions.

Our practice employs professionally qualified and registered Fire Safety Engineers who are recognised by the relevant authorities and are considered to be at the forefront of Fire Engineering technology.

Dr Weng Poh, a registered Fire Safety Engineer is the Principal Fire Engineer of Umow Lai Fire. Dr Poh integrates his intellectual rigour with practical fire engineering experience.

Umow Lai Fire is among the pioneers in the application of Fire Engineering technology in Victoria. It has a proud history of delivering practical and cost effective design solutions to its many satisfied clients.

Our practice has undertaken significant commissions for Government Departments, major institutions and private sector clients. To carry out fire engineering work, we utilise fire engineering computer programs including ‘FDS’, ‘C ontam’, ‘FIRECALC’, ‘EVACNET’ and ‘CFAST’.
